Princeton Frost - Pre-Assembled Cabinets

Cabinets with full overlay doors come with a small clearance between doors/drawers and cabinet edges. If a cabinet is located next to a wall or other surface (e.g. refrigerator panel), we recommend adding at least 1/4" additional clearance to allow doors/drawers operate smoothly. The 1/4" is the minimum recommended, however, some applications will require a bigger clearance depending on hardware and other project requirements. Use a scribe molding or wall/base fillers to fill the gaps. Generally the additional spacing is not required in between cabinets unless they are different depth (e.g. a 12" deep wall cabinet next to a 24" deep pantry).

However, hinge adjustments are typically still required for all cabinets to ensure proper door clearance and alignment.
